By accessing and using the PretCarburant.ro platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform"), you fully accept the terms and conditions presented below. Please read this document carefully before using our services.

1. About the Platform

PretCarburant.ro is an independent information and price comparison platform for fuels (petrol, diesel, LPG, AdBlue) and electric charging stations in Romania. The Platform does not sell fuels and does not operate filling stations.

The Platform is managed by Andrei-Serban Stoian, a natural person, domiciled in Romania.

2. Informational Nature of Data

The prices displayed on PretCarburant.ro are exclusively informational and indicative. They are automatically collected from public sources (including the Price Monitor of the Competition Council, official websites of fuel station networks, and other publicly accessible sources) and may not fully or in real time reflect the actual prices charged at the pump.

Actual prices may differ due to:

Delays in data updates by public sources
Price changes that occurred after the last update
Local or temporary promotions applied by each station
Technical or data transmission errors
Differences between the reported price and the actual price displayed at the pump

We recommend that you always verify the price displayed at the pump before refuelling. PretCarburant.ro does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the displayed prices.

3. Registered Trademarks and Intellectual Property

The trade names, logos, emblems, and trademarks of fuel station networks displayed on the Platform — including, but not limited to Petrom, OMV, Rompetrol, MOL, Lukoil, SOCAR, Gazprom, Oscar/RO and any other trademarks — are the exclusive property of their respective owners and are registered trademarks protected by national and international law.

The use of these trademarks and logos on PretCarburant.ro is exclusively for informational purposes, to identify fuel station networks and facilitate price comparison for users. PretCarburant.ro has no affiliation, official partnership, or commercial relationship with these companies, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The original content of the Platform (design, texts, source code, database structure) is protected by copyright and belongs to the Platform administrator.

4. Limitation of Liability

PretCarburant.ro, its administrator, and its collaborators do not assume and shall not be liable for:

Financial losses, direct or indirect, resulting from the use of or reliance on prices displayed on the Platform
Refuelling decisions made exclusively based on Platform data
Differences between prices displayed on the Platform and actual prices charged at the pump
Errors, omissions, delays, or inaccuracies in displayed data
Temporary or permanent unavailability of the Platform or any functionality
Damage caused by viruses, cyber attacks, or other security threats
Content of third-party websites to which the Platform may contain links
Actions of third parties (fuel station networks, data providers) that affect data accuracy

Use of the Platform is at the user's own risk. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

5. Data Sources

The data displayed on the Platform is collected from the following public sources:

Price Monitor — the Competition Council's platform in Romania (monitorulpreturilor.info)
Official websites of fuel station networks (where data is publicly available)
Other public sources of fuel price data

Data is updated automatically, several times a day, but the frequency and accuracy depend on source availability.

6. Email Alert Service

Users may voluntarily subscribe to the email alert service. By subscribing, you agree to receive periodic notifications about price changes. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email or by contacting us directly.

Collected email addresses are used exclusively for sending alerts and are not shared with third parties. For details, see the Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies for:

Essential cookies — necessary for Platform operation (theme preferences, cookie consent)
Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, to understand how the Platform is used (only with user consent)
Advertising cookies — Google AdSense, to display relevant ads (only with user consent)

You can manage your cookie preferences through the consent banner displayed on your first visit or by clearing cookies from your browser.

8. Advertising

The Platform displays advertisements through Google AdSense to financially support the service. Advertisements are automatically generated by Google and do not reflect PretCarburant.ro recommendations. We do not assume responsibility for the content of displayed advertisements.

9. API and Automated Use

PretCarburant.ro offers a public API with a limit of 100 requests per day. Excessive automated use (scraping, bots) without the prior written consent of the administrator is prohibited and may result in access being blocked.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. Continued use of the Platform after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The date of the last update is displayed at the top of this page.

11. Applicable Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute shall be resolved by the competent courts of Romania.
