How the calculator works
The PretCarburant.ro fuel savings calculator is the most accurate trip cost estimation tool in Romania. It uses real price data from 1499 gas stations, updated 12 times a day, to calculate exactly how much a trip between two cities costs and how much you can save by choosing the right station.
The calculator estimates the trip cost based on the distance between the two cities, your car's average consumption and real fuel prices from available stations in the departure city.
The price difference between the cheapest and most expensive liter of fuel in the same city may seem small (20-40 bani), but on a long trip of 300+ km, the savings reach 10-20 lei per trip. Multiplied by the number of trips per month, the annual savings can exceed 500 lei.
