How to read the charts
The charts on this page show the trend of national average prices for standard petrol 95, standard diesel and auto LPG. Data is calculated daily as the arithmetic mean of prices from all monitored gas stations. The red line represents petrol, the blue line diesel, and the green line LPG. You can filter by fuel type and period — daily, monthly or annual. The Brent chart shows the correlation between the international oil price and pump prices in Romania; on our own data, a sharp and sustained rise in the quote shows up at the pump within days (September 2026), while falls pass through more slowly.
About the older part of the series. Our own monitoring started on 18 March 2026. Points before that date are reconstructed from published annual averages — shown for historical context, not measured by us, and not part of the downloadable dataset.
