PretCarburant.ro is Romania's number 1 independent platform dedicated to fuel price comparison. Founded in 2026, our mission is simple: to help every driver in Romania find the best price for petrol, diesel, and LPG, regardless of city or county.

Every day, millions of Romanians refuel at gas stations without knowing if they are paying more than they should. Price differences between two stations in the same city can reach 30-50 bani per litre, which means savings of 15-25 lei on a single fill-up. Over the course of a year, that can mean hundreds of lei saved.

How It Works

We automatically collect prices from the major fuel station networks in Romania — Petrom, OMV, Rompetrol, MOL, Lukoil, Socar, Gazprom — as well as from over 500 independent gas stations. Our collection system runs three times a day (morning, noon, and evening), ensuring that the information displayed is as recent and accurate as possible.

The data is processed, automatically verified, and displayed on the site in an easy-to-read format. The interactive map allows users to quickly find the cheapest stations nearby, while the comparison tables provide an overview of prices at the city, county, or network level.

Data Sources

The prices displayed on PretCarburant.ro come from verifiable public sources. The main source is the Price Monitor platform, managed by the Competition Council in partnership with the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC). According to current regulations, major fuel station networks are required to report any price change within 15 minutes.

The data is supplemented with information collected directly from the official websites of distribution networks, ensuring the most comprehensive coverage of stations in Romania, including independent gas stations that are not included in the Price Monitor.
